Suzanne Allen - Director & Designer
As the director of Suzanne Allen Design, I have spent over 15 years immersed in the world of residential interior design. Guiding clients through new builds and renovations has been my expertise, and I have also taken on several property renovations myself. With a wealth of experience under my belt, I am always ready to take on any challenge that comes my way.
Villa and bungalow renovations hold a special place in my heart. I’m passionate about reviving these beautiful old homes through sympathetic renovations, whether it be embracing their traditional charm, infusing contemporary elements, or finding a harmonious blend of both styles. But beyond the aesthetics, what truly fuels my passion is getting to know my clients on a personal level and helping them discover their unique style. Together, we create beautiful homes that reflect their personalities and bring them joy. The satisfaction of completing a project and witnessing a happy client is the ultimate reward for me.
Kirsten Roberts - SENIOR Designer
With extensive experience in both commercial and residential interior design, Kirsten brings a fresh approach to our team. Alongside her design pursuits, Kirsten is also a talented artist, with her work showcased in private collections across New Zealand and around the globe. This artistic background grants her a remarkable understanding of color and its impact on a space.

Bungalow and villa renovation specialists
We are especially passionate about bungalows and villas and have each lived in both over the years. They can present some unique challenges during renovation and it’s helpful to have someone on your team with a great deal of experience and a repertoire of solutions that we know will work.
Other houses
While we love a good period home, we have lots of experience with other styles of homes including new builds, apartments and baches.
Our fees
We like to be transparent about how our pricing is structured, how many hours we work on your project while it’s in progress, and what you can expect to spend.
After our initial in-home consultation, we will send you an estimate of what you should expect to pay for our services. If it looks like we might need more time than initially thought, we’ll let you know in advance and we can discuss how to proceed.
Network of professionals
You may need new carpet, engineered timber flooring, updated drapes, or hanging of special artwork. We are not experts at everything and nor do we pretend to be (although we do know a lot of stuff about interiors!), but we do work with the experts. We’ll be able put you in touch with our trusted network of trade professionals who will work alongside us to get the job done.
Trade discounts
We have a great network of suppliers and this allows us to find some unique products that you won’t see in many retail stores. As our client, you will be able to take advantage of trade buying rates that we receive through many of these suppliers.
We will share with you any trade discounts we receive from suppliers, so you will almost always be paying less than retail rates. The amount of discount off the recommended retail price varies between suppliers and so do the savings that can be passed on.
